I love when a genius idea comes to fruition. Being a local here in Oxford for the past 25 football seasons (because that’s of course how we measure years in God’s Country) I have seen so many businesses start and sadly close. You start to lose track of what that building used to be and before that and before that--anyone remember the old Cedars restaurant out by the airport? It’s been a host of other restaurants since then and last month it took its final bow and was torn down. But with good reason! A new spa and apartment living is coming, because we all know we need more apartments!!

But should someone have asked me what my legacy was I’d probably start with something about my Grandfather and how important he was and what a legacy he left. He’d often tell strangers “Let me tell you how lucky I am to be alive.” And then he’d go into the story of how his father was a passenger on the ill-fated Titanic trip. (Yes, it's a true story- my great grandfather was and had he not gotten off, I wouldn't be here today!) 

So now you might even be questioning what your own legacy is even now as an adult. Perhaps it’s something that evolves as life moves through its chapters. But the college chapter - what a perplexing and stressful time.
