Are You Ready?! (For Graduation)

With Graduation just around the corner, it seems like the to-do list is piling up. To make things easier, here is a list of important dates/times leading up to graduation to take note of!

April 21: Deadline to order cap and gown without a $50 late fee. You can place an order for cap and gowns, class rings and announcements here.

May 8: Pick up for cap and gowns becomes available.

  • May 8 from 9am - 4pm @ Tad Smith Coliseum

  • May 9 from 9am - 4pm @ Tad Smith Coliseum

  • May 10 from 9am - 6pm @ Tad Smith Coliseum

  • May 11 from 9 am - 4pm @ Tad Smith Coliseum

  • May 12 from 7:30 am - 9am @ Jackson Avenue Center

May 11: Graduation Weekend Begins

  • 4pm: Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College @ Gertrude Ford Center for the Performing Arts (tickets required)

  • 5:30pm: Celebration of Achievement @ The Pavilion

May 12: Graduation Day

  • 9am: Convocation for all students @ The Grove. Students will have designated seating for each school or college. All students must be seated by 8:30 am at the latest. Friends and family may sit wherever they please, with the exception of the dedicated areas for graduates.

  • 11am: College of Liberal Arts – Master’s Degree @ Fulton Chapel

  • 11am: School of Law @ The Grove

  • 11am: School of Engineering @ The Lyceum Circle

  • 11am: School of Education @ The Grove

  • 11am: School of Business Administration @ Tad Smith Coliseum

  • 11am: Patterson School of Accountancy @ Archie and Olivia Manning Athletics Performance Center

  • 11am: School of Applied Sciences @ The Pavilion

  • 11am: School of Pharmacy @ The Gertrude Ford Center for the Performing Arts

  • 3pm: College of Liberal Arts @ The Pavilion

  • 3pm: Meek School of Journalism and New Media @ Tad Smith Coliseum

  • 3pm: General Studies @ Archie and Olivia Manning Athletics Performance Center

This is going to be a very special day and we are so excited for all of the soon-to-be graduates!
